War Child x Flowers Gallery present Lost Girls

October 2023

We’ve lent our support to War Child UK, who deliver vital work across the globe, doing everything they can to protect children living through conflict and war.

After 30 years, War Child UK and Flowers Gallery have worked in partnership once again to host ‘Lost Girls’, an autumn exhibition and fundraiser. The opening date coincides with the UN International Day of the Girl Child, addressing the profound challenges faced by girls affected by war.

Lost Girls aims to empower with a focus on survival rather than victimhood, raising funds for War Child’s crucial work in providing support to children and their families in 15 countries worldwide. The selection of artists and curators includes individuals who have deep and personal connections with refugee communities, PTSD, or come from territories where War Child provides urgent care and support.

We worked with War Child UK to provide customs clearance in support of the exhibition, related to artwork that has been donated towards the event by Ai Weiwei, an artist that we’ve worked with many times over the years.

We wish War Child UK all the best with the event and fundraising in order to continue delivering the important work that they do.
